Beechcraft Starship airplane model. Beech partnered with Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites to create the innovative Model 2000 Starship 1, a new standard in corporate transport. Its unique compound taper wings hold twin pusher engines, while large endplate fins and additional small fins enhance stability. Crafted primarily from advanced Nomex honeycomb and graphite/epoxy composites with titanium reinforcements, this aircraft combines strength and lightweight design. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67A turboprops with five-blade Hartzell propellers, it can carry 10 passengers at speeds up to 386 mph, reach altitudes of 41,000 ft, and fly nearly 2,000 miles nonstop.
