P-51 Mustang Betty Jane airplane model. The P-51 Mustang was developed within a very short period of time. It saw extensive use in the later years of the European theater of war. It soon made an appearance in the Pacific War very late in the war escorting B-29 bombers over Japan.

The P-51C is a model of the 2-seat aircraft operated by the Collings Foundation.

It takes me back to that September day when I spent one of the most exciting days of my life in the sky flying her. The model is excellent.
