N2C Fledgling

The Curtiss N2C-2 "Fledgling" was the winner of a 1928 Navy design competition for a new primary training plane. When the N2Cs rolled off the assembly line, they appeared more reminiscent of a World War I aircraft than a new top-of-the-line trainer.
