RC-12 Crazy Horse airplane model. The RC-12G, used for the Crazy Horse system, was a US Army Special Electronic Mission aircraft based on the King Air A200CT. Crazyhorse was flown by two units, A Co. MIBLI and 138th Aviation Company. Generally similar to RC-12D. The mission equipment contractor was Sanders Associates, Inc. Three RC-12G were delivered in 1985 after conversion from C-12D airframes. These aircraft served in Latin America with the 138th Military Intelligence Company (Aerial Exploitation) in Orlando, Florida, before being moved into storage at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The system was actually operated by active duty, first by the Echelon Above Core Aviation Intelligence Company, which was formed into B Company, Military Intelligence Battalion (Low Intensity) before being turned over to us at the 138th Military Intelligence Company (AE).
