Rockwell Saberliner

Rockwell Sabreliner 65 airplane model. The North American Sabreliner aircraft has served as a military trainer aircraft and business jet since its introduction in 1962.

The Sabreliner got its name from North American's F-86 Sabre jet fighter for their similar wing and tail designs. The military variant of the Sabreliner was known as the T-39 by the U.S. Air Force and Navy and over 200 were produced and used in combat in the Vietnam War. Other militaries to fly the Sabreliner include air forces in Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Sweden.
