Personalization

Beech 350 Super King Air airplane model. The design process for an enhanced version of the successful King Air B200 commenced in August 1981, with a 14-month design phase culminating in the maiden flight of the upgraded 300 model in October of the following year. The B200 saw numerous improvements, the most significant being the replacement of its earlier PT6A-42 turboprops with the more powerful PT6A-60A engines. Additional modifications included redesigned, aerodynamically refined engine cowls and exhausts, as well as extended wing leading edges. There were also minor changes made internally. Furthermore, both the empty and maximum takeoff weights saw an increase.

Mahogany Wood. Scale: 1/32. Wingspan 21 1/2 inches, Length 17 1/4 inches.

My favorite airplane in MSFS.

I did a world tour in this plane using MSFS2024. In my younger days, as a private pilot, flying the King Air was an unacheivable possibility. It was my dream airplane. I realize that MSFS is just a dimulator but it's pretty darn realistic. When I decided to start my model airplane collection, this was at the top of my list. I love it.
