A-4 Skyhawk / Blue Angels

A-4 Skyhawk Blue Angels airplane model. The A-4 Skyhawk, a lightweight, single-engine attack aircraft, was designed based on insights from the Korean War. Known colloquially as the "Scooter," it stands as one of the most iconic attack aircraft ever created. Initially developed for the US Navy and Marine Corps, this short-range attack and close support aircraft quickly proved successful and continues to serve in various air forces globally. The A-4 has several models, each equipped with two internal 20mm cannons and capable of deploying both conventional and nuclear weapons in visual meteorological conditions, day or night. Its design is notably compact, maximizing efficiency with no superfluous space. The aircraft features a traditional all-metal semi-monocoque structure, automatic wing slats, and hydraulic split flaps, but lacks folding wings.
