P-51 Dago Red

Dago Red, a North American P-51D Mustang bearing the serial number 44-74996, was restored for competitive air racing by Frank Taylor in 1981. It has set multiple world records, including the 15 km speed record at 517.323 mph achieved in 1983. Frank Taylor was at the helm for the majority of these world records during the 1980s.
