F-4 Phantom 58th Fighter Wing

F-4C Phantom airplane model. The F-4C version was developed specifically for the Air Force and was externally similar to the Navy F-4B, including the tailhook. Differences included full dual controls, low pressure tires and deeper wheel wells, anti-skid braking, revised radar systems, and a refueling boom receptacle. It carried four AIM-7 Sparrow air-to-air missiles and was also capable of delivering multiple air-to-ground ordnance packages, including guided and unguided missiles and bombs. Up to three external fuel tanks provided additional range.
