The Boeing Model 767 was released alongside the Model 757, featuring a revolutionary 4-foot 1-inch wider fuselage that allows for spacious seven- or eight-abreast seating with dual aisles. With a high-density configuration, this aircraft could hold up to 289 passengers. On August 4, 1981, the first Model 767 was proudly unveiled in Everett, Washington, followed by a successful maiden flight of 2 hours and 4 minutes on September 26th.
