Cessna Citation X

Cessna Citation X airplane model. First announced in 1990 at a National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) event, the Citation X could reach a max speed of Mach 0.92 - up from Mach 0.851 compared to previous-generation Citation models - and a cruising speed of around Mach 0.90. The AE 3007 was the first Rolls-Royce engine to be included on a Cessna jet, providing up to 6,764 lbs of thrust each.

As the fastest business jet on the market at the time, this proved a key selling point for customers looking for the shortest journeys possible, and it was also an impressive status signal to own the world's fastest business jet.
