I received the plane today. It was packaged so well.

I have to say the pictures do not do it justice, it's amazing. When my husband opened it, it brought tears to his eyes. And for this " old marine " that is no easy feat.  He plans on taking it to his Marine Corp League meeting on Monday.

Thank you for all your help.

Received my C-141A model on Saturday, and am extremely delighted with the final product!  It's all I hoped it to be and more.  Perfect detail, custom unit identification, and coloring.  Thanks to Scalecraft Models for a perfect model.

People of Scalecraft:

The model came "in" last night; just "unpacked" this early am; IT REALLY IS BEAUTIFUL!!!  The photos you sent did not do the details justice. It's really amazing in that regard - so much delicate detail. And as I've mentioned before, even the box and packaging are a "work of art".   Please give my best regards to your model makers. THEY ARE IMPRESSIVE.

Gentlemen,

I received my order for the TRAP A-4 today and just wanted to let you know it exceeds expectations. It is a Christmas gift for my dad who is in his mid-80's and retired from the U.S. Navy in 1966. He is in his twilight years and this gift of an A-4 trapping on a carrier deck signifies his last major accomplishment in the Navy. He was an A-4 line chief from Los Alamitos NAS in 1966 and was instrumental in the success of Naval Reserve pilots in VA-772 carrier qualifying on the USS Lexington. This was his crowning moment and this model, I'm sure, he will cherish.

Again, thank everyone at Scalecraft for an excellent product, great customer service, and superb packaging and delivery performance.

Sincerely,

L. Webb

Thank you so much for a wonderful models of the DC-10 Tanker. My husband flew that plane and I wanted to give him the model of it. To see such a stunning model - I was speechless. My husband opened the package and his eyes were lit, he was like a little boy, so happy and full of joy to see that perfect model of one of his favorite planes.

Absolutely gorgeous. I am sure I will order more of your great products!

Wishing you a continuous success,

W. Hughes

I just received the plane at my front door this morning and I am completely speechless.  The quality and details of the plane are so great!  And you have exceeded my expectations with the logo on the wood base, nice touch!  I am one hundred percent satisfied and I couldn't be more pleased.  This is the ninth plane, (first custom order), I have ordered from Scalecraft; and I will continue to order from you in the future.  Thank you so much!

Hi…I received this order today and have three major comments (Compliments) for you….1. The shipment was very promptly received….2. The packaging of this model was far superior to anything I had seen…3. The quality of the model surpasses in technique more than any other that I have either purchased or ever seen. The exquisite detail in its presentation is certainly of museum quality. I thank you so much for bringing back so many memories of 70 some years ago…

Sincerely,

Dr. William H.

My father received the A-4 Skyhawk/VMA-331 and was just thrilled with it.  I am not sure if I mentioned this before, but my father (who just turned 95 years old), as a USMC LtCol, commanded VMA-331 back in 1965 and 1966.  In 1966, VMA-331 won the coveted Naval Aviation Safety Award.  Interestingly, my father assumed command of VMA-331 from the outgoing CO, LtCol Donald Conroy, the Great Santini, the central character in his son’s book of the same name.

Pat Conroy was the author of the Great Santini, and another later book, the Death of Santini.

My father has the distinction of being the ONLY Marine Corps officer who ever commanded both a helicopter squadron and a jet squadron.  He is also an inductee into the Michigan Aviation Hall of Fame in Kalamazoo, MI.

So…. if my dad said it is a great model, it is!!

Thank you again for your help and for the memories you resurrected.

Dear Scalecraft,

I must say I am very impressed with your company and the service I received recently. I ordered two of your model aircraft on Wednesday. Later that same day I received an email confirming my order. Much to my surprise, I received an additional email that my items were in stock and had been shipped that same day. On Friday, my complete order was at my door! Upon opening the packages, I found myself completely happy with the quality of the model aircraft. They were in great shape and were exactly what I ordered. Your company did an outstanding job!!!!! How refreshing to find a company so efficient!! I have done a lot of shopping via the internet and I found Scalecraft to be at the top of the list for service and quality products. Thank you!

"WOW! Thanks for the model. The workmanship is excellent and your service and professionalism are very much appreciated. You will hear from me again.

L. McAllister,

Your models are some of the best I have ever seen. You can count on my repeat business.

P. Sanchez,

My father loves the P-47 I purchased for him. The quality was much better than I expected. He was shot down and wounded during D-day while flying the P-47 and never got the chance to fly again. The look in his eyes when he saw the model was wonderful. It looked like a close friend had just walked in the door. Thank you for bringing a smile to his face.

I just received the C-46 Commando model. It is just fantastic in every way. I gave it to my father who flew the Commando in the CBI during World War II. It brought out some fabulous stories and memories (some good and some bad). His grandchildren now have his undivided attention. Thank you so much!

I just wanted to tell you how grateful I am to you and your products. As you know, my father served in the Air Force and was suffering from painful terminal cancer. Your suggestions and ideas provided tremendous comfort to him and my entire family. One day, his children and grandchildren paraded the models of almost every plane he flew into his room. His pain turned into happiness, and we delighted in the many hours of storytelling about those planes. The kids asked him almost every question you can imagine, and he answered them with the vigor and energy that was not seen over the last year. His pain just vanished to the doctor's amazement. I just want to thank you again for your dedication and extra efforts on my father's behalf. The trouble you went through to help us was amazing. The last few days of his life were filled with much joy. God bless you!

The Presidential wood Podium Seal is a great addition for that Presidential collector. The Seal's detail is authentic in every sense of the word.

It is a beautiful representation of the aircraft that I will proudly display to remind me of a very important part of my life that began almost 40 years ago.  Thank you for creating a memory.

Scalecraft,

Two and a half months ago I ordered a custom model, after previously ordering the same model from another company in Canada. The model was ordered in April for presentation to a retiring Canadian Forces Reserve officer, presentation date August 28, 2004. Unfortunately, the Canadian company failed to deliver, which leads me to this letter of endorsement.

The model, a Bellanca Scout; in Royal Canadian Air Cadet livery, was ordered in September of 2004, at the end of November 2004 I was informed by your company that the model was ready for delivery and provided with photographs of the completed item. I am amazed at the details visible, and equally amazed and delighted in service your company has delivered.

From the positive comments received from current personnel, I can assure you that you will be receiving further orders based on your outstanding service and dedication.

Thanking you,

B Howard, Captain

Deputy Commander, SOGC / ACGP. Canada.

I recently purchased the following model: C-20 Gulfstream III SC-0082.  It arrived promptly and I opened it Christmas Day, my present to me!!  It is outstanding!!  Great detail work on the antenna's, etc.  Thank you for the great model.  I have many hours on that particular tail number.

Thanks again,

REPLICA IS AS CLOSE AS IT GETS TO REAL THING.

I served with VP-40 at NAS North Island and Cavite, Philippines while patrolling South China Sea in 1966-67. This is modeled after QE-10, BuNo 5533, which was last P5M to fly for US Navy. Very nice quality and presentation. Model is sitting above my desk as I type this.

TRULY NEXT LEVEL ACCURACY

I have purchased several of these wooden aircraft display models from various manufacturers and distributors in the past, with the experience inevitably falling short of the expectation. Most of these were described as “stunning”, “true to scale”, “amazing detail”, etc. but none have lived up to the description. Until now. The Learjet 24A by Scalecraft absolutely knocked my socks off when I first saw it. And I’m only talking about the photo of it that was in the Scalecraft advertisement. These first-generation Learjet’s are extremely short, and the fuselage is anything but cylindrical, resembling a pear more than a tube. The team at Scalecraft had not only nailed that shape, but the rest of the details as well, and in their photo the proportions looked just right. However, the proof would be in how the actual model looked on my desk.

Unbelievably, once it arrived, the model was beyond my most optimistic of expectations. The term “museum quality” is not taken lightly by me, and this masterpiece is worthy of the description. The few questions I had were answered swiftly and courteously, the model was packed securely in custom cut foam lined box, and I cannot imagine being any more satisfied - indeed thrilled - with this transaction. I am a demanding customer, and in a world of online business dealings it is a rare thing to find an outfit that not only meets what it promises but exceeds those claims in every way. I would advise anyone in the market for a display model to not waste your time and money: Skip the rest and go with the best – Scalecraft

For years, I've been looking for a large-scale Mahogany desktop model of an early production Boeing Flying Fortress. And now it's finally appeared from ScaleCraft in the form of 1940's model "D" variant (yes, it has cowl flaps so it's most certainly the "D" model). This is a beautifully crafted desktop model, painted in WWII Olive Drab with a light gray underside and early Army Air Force markings. It's just like the real bomber that appears throughout Howard Hawks and Warner Bros. WWII feature film, "Air Force." That bomber was named the "Mary Ann" and now you can have a "D" model of your very own to place on a tabletop or an office bookcase. Don't think about it, just buy it

This is my second Scalecraft B-17 model. I love the dark color on this particular one. Very nice and clean details. I have seen and loved the real plane, and happy to have such a beautiful model of it now. Shipping was fast and packaged perfectly!

I've compared the quality of build and detail of this model to the competition and without doubt Scale Craft makes some of the very best and most accurately detailed models of the Lockheed L-1011 TriStar available anywhere. Considering the level of accuracy and detail represented, the cost is almost modest. Other 1:100 scale mahogany-built display models pale in comparison. Scale Craft is definitely the way to go, if you want the best in large 1:100 scale display models. I say this as an aerospace historian associated with an air museum. Care taken to pack and protect these models in shipment is also exceptional. You won't regret a purchase from this company!

I had Scalecraft build one of the Santa Fe Skyways DC-4 and it is beautiful! Ordering and delivery was as smooth as glass. No problems at any stage and a beautiful model. Well worth the price.

My first purchase from Scalecraft and now I am about to buy a couple more. The Vulcan is well made and sturdy and looks great in my pub! My electrician actually knocked it to the floor, and it survived with only minor damage. It was a lot heavier than I expected - which is a good thing in my opinion. Overall, I am very happy with my Vulcan!

I had several MD500E C.P.D. helicopters made a few years ago. They were amazing! Scalecraft had me send a bunch of photos and scan the shoulder patch to put on the stand. Very good work.

Out of the 45 models that I own, this one (PBY Black Cat) is probably very close to the top of the list. Superb detailing (guns, bombs, floats), and a super base make this a top-notch model. Definitely a plus to anyone's collection.

I Fired the first versions of the Bullpup from a P-3 in the 1960's using the joystick and the extremely wild bang-bang canards as we followed it in. Very interesting! A great model and a very accurate one.
