P-51C Mustang "Betty Jane"

P-51 Mustang Betty Jane airplane model. The P-51 Mustang was developed within a very short period of time. It saw extensive use in the later years of the European theater of war. It soon made an appearance in the Pacific War very late in the war escorting B-29 bombers over Japan.

The P-51C is a model of the 2-seat aircraft operated by the Collings Foundation.
